Rent Painters for the Day - Transparent Day Rates

Most painting quotes include costs that do not paint your home: sales appointments, estimator drive time, office overhead, commissions, and markups. Our model is simple: choose a crew size (1-5 painters) and rent the crew for an 8 hour workday.

Popular requests: interior painting crews for rentals, move-in/move-out painting, apartment turns, multi-room refresh, walls/ceilings/trim/doors, light prep and patching. We schedule local painting crews and provide professional equipment so you can complete projects fast with transparent day-rate pricing.

Fast quote tip: Send your address/city + photos + what you want painted (walls only or walls + ceilings/trim/doors). Add preferred date(s) and whether the home is occupied or empty. We will recommend the right crew size and realistic day count.

Fair comparison: Before you compare quotes, ask any company (1) how many painters will be on-site, (2) how many days, and (3) total price. Compare total production - that is the true price.
Day Rates (8-hour workday)
Crew Size Best For Price
1 Painter Touch-ups, 1 room, small jobs, punch list. $300
2 Painters 2-3 rooms, move-in/move-out, rentals, faster turnaround. $550
3 Painters Larger spaces and projects needing more prep + production. $775
4 Painters Big projects, multi-room refresh, heavier prep, tighter timelines. $1,000
5 Painters Maximum production. Often used for whole-home interiors when scope/prep allows. $1,250
Tip: If you want the best value, do not guess. Send photos first and we will recommend the right crew size and day count.
What Is Included
Your day rate includes professional painters for an 8 hour workday. We protect your home, prep surfaces, paint the agreed areas, and clean up thoroughly.

Prep matters. Good results come from proper prep: covering, masking, patching, sanding, caulking, and stain-blocking when needed.
BONUS Fix-It Services
If time remains after painting, we can knock out items on your fix-it list at no extra charge (light bulbs, caulk touch-ups, minor patches, cob webs, small tasks). Painting quality always comes first.

Production Guide (Realistic Expectations)
A common guideline is about ~375 sq ft per painter per day for two coats, depending on layout and how much prep is required.

Things that slow production: ceilings, heavy patching, stain/water spots, lots of trim/doors, wallpaper removal, high ceilings/foyers, dark-to-light color changes, and detailed cut-in work.
Materials
You purchase materials like paint/primer/tape. We provide labor and professional equipment. We will advise what to buy and how much - and paint store staff can help confirm coverage.
Scheduling and Start Time
Most crews confirm the morning of service and typically arrive within a normal start window (often between 8:00-9:00am depending on location and job load).
Best Next Step
If you want the smartest plan (and the best value), send your photos and scope first. We will tell you the right crew size so you do not overpay - and you do not underbook and lose momentum.
